BROADVIEW HEIGHTS HOME DAYS ON THE GREEN: JULY 8TH - 11TH. The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a booth with raffles at the event and is also running the dunk tank! We are seeking coaches and anyone else who might be interested in helping out by sitting in the tank. MAYOR ALAI'S 5K RUN/1-MILE WALK/RUN FOR HEALTH & WELLNESS: This event is held in conjunction with the Broadview Heights Home Days. Sunday, July 11th. Registration begins at 7:30am, race/walk 8:30am. 10 Volunteers needed to help out from 7am to abuot 10:30am.. Chipotle is donating FREE FOOD for our volunteers this year!!! Event participants receive a goodie bag, refreshments and fruit, T-shirts and discount coupons for the Fireman's Pancake Breakfast held immediatly after the race awards. KURTZ CARES FUNDRAISER: Broadview Heights Parks & Recreation Department is teaming up with Kurtz Bros. to help raise funds for Broadview Heights Youth Sports! The program is called the Kurtz Cares and provides our organization with 10% back from all purchases made under our account number. All you need to do is purchase all of your landscaping products from Kurtz Bros. this year, mention Broadview Heights Parks & Recreation Department and reference our account number: 5001123. Every 3 months, they will total the receipts and reward us with 10% back which we will use to make improvements at “The Fields”. See below for locations and more information.
